NOTE: You must go to sync mode SY on the display and set both hands in the 12 oclock position before you start making time and date adjustments. Took me a minute but it’s what is done in the beginning of the video but wasn’t mentioned.

Tried this and was a total nightmare. The battery release is quite difficult to unsnap. Caused the watch body to come lose from the case, and numerals fell off the face which are impossible to reattach. Very tricky to try reseating the body of the watch to the case. My advice unless you are experienced with watch repair take it someone who is. I had to order a new watch. You've been warned.

In my case with a weak capacitor I've tried and never complete this procedure , it always stuck out of charge on a date/day alignment :). A new capacitor may solve the problem but not for sure :))
